Public SERVICE PENSION FUND Announcements: Request FOR PROPOSAL on gLOBAL CUSTODY SERVICES Type of Appointments: Custodian services for foreign investments of Public Service Pension Fund, including both priority and discretionary parts. Asset Size of appointments: To be determined according to the Public Service Pension Fund's foreign investment process. Submission Period: 11 August to 5 p.m. on 22 September 2003. Time Period: Four years effective from the contract date. Qualification of Applicants as follows: (1) Branch office of any foreign financial institution with client service team in Taiwan.(2) Assets under custody should reach USD500 billion as at 31December, 2002. For the assets under custody below USD500 billion, but above USD3 billion should alliance with a global custodian which assets under custody reach USD500 billion and obtains a Letter of Intent for providing basic services required by the Committee and such Letter of Intent should be signed before entering agreement with the Committee. (3) The credit rating in the past one year (from July 2002 to July 2003) and long -term debt credit rating must reach the minimum rating of twA+ by Taiwan Rating or A- by Standard & Poor's Corporation, or A3 by Moody's Investors Service, or A- by Fitch IBCA LTD.
