Public SERVICE PENSION FUND Announcements: Request FOR PROPOSAL on Asset Management SERVICES 1.Type of Mandates: International Balanced & International Indexed Equity. 2.Amount for Outsourcing: Total US$ 500 million and US$ 100 million for each mandate, of which US$ 300 million for 3 (2)International Balanced mandates and US$ 200 million for 2 International Indexed Equity mandates. 3.Submission Period: 11 August to 5 p.m. on 22 September 2003. 4.Contracting Period: Two years effective from the contracting date and maybe extend to five years or less by the written consent of PSPF after it finish revising its internal regulation. 5.Qualification for Applicants as follows: (1) There are more than three tracking record years since inception.(2) Institutional Assets under Management for Asset Management firms should reach US$ 25 billion or more and, additionally for Financial Institutions, being the top 1000 banks around the world in terms of assets being managed as of 31March 2003. (3) To provide client service team with three persons in Taipei, Taiwan. (4) The evaluation and presentation of performance should follow the GIPS or AIMR-PPS established by AIMR, Association for Investment Management and Research in US. (5) To outperform benchmark, Morgan Stanley Capital International, world index -- developed countries and JP Morgan, Government Bond Index—Global for International Balanced mandates and Morgan Stanley Capital International, world index -- developed countries for International Indexed Equity mandates, in the period from 1 April 2001 to 31March 2003.
